We have been passionate about Aroids, especially Alocasia, for decades, but our nursery is relatively young. It was only in 2019 that we relocated from the frozen North, Northern Virginia, to Florida and could expand upon our hobby and transform it into a business.

We started with less than a dozen varieties of Alocasia and Colocasia and have grown that number to around seventy. Along the way, we have met some wonderful people and have been able to learn a lot. As with all businesses, this one has had its ups and down. No one could have expected a pandemic to hit just a few months after we founded the nursery. Nevertheless, we have weathered the storm better than most small businesses. Our plants seem to have brought just as much happiness to others as they brought to us, during these tough times.

During the coming year, we are planning on focusing on our variegated and sport varieties. We have some wonderful babies that are growing, and we cannot wait to share them with you.

We love all of our plants, but there is something special about the variegated varieties that make them stand out. It does not matter if the variegation is white, yellow, green, or black, or any other color, the contrast of colors and patterns makes ever leaf a masterpiece. We find, especially with out Alocasia Gageana Variegata, that the anticipation of what the next leaf is going to look like is the most fun part about the plant.
